Company Templates
When creating company accounts, you do so via Company Templates. This feature can be found by Consultancy Administrators in Consultancy Settings and the tab "Company Templates".

Before you have set up any templates, there is already one available called "Carbon+Alt+Delete Default". This cannot be removed or edited and will create a company account with the default settings and boundaries provided by Carbon+Alt+Delete. By clicking +Add at the bottom-left of the page, you can create up to five additional templates covering many different use cases, including, but not limited to:
- Making country-specific templates by setting specific preferred datasets and translating activity categories
- Re-structuring activity categories and setting up new elements to track specific activities (e.g. Purchased Water and Waste Water)
- Setting up standards for custom fields and business units
- And much more...
Once a template is created you can give it a Name and a Description. Next, you will want to click Edit to fill in the template.

Editing a template behaves very similarly to opening any other company account apart from a few key differences:
- You ONLY have access to Boundaries
- You can't switch to any other company from this view
- You can't access other settings pages from this view
You can change everything under Reporting Periods, Organizational Units, Activity Categories, Emission Factors, Custom Fields, and Business Metrics. Once you are done setting up the boundaries of this template, you click Close Template to save the changes you have made and to return to the previously accessed company.

Now that your template is ready, you can create a new company account using the same boundary settings as your template. When you create a new company account, you will now be asked to choose from one of your own templates or the Carbon+Alt+Delete default. You then treat it the same as any other company by giving it a name and giving access to it for your Expert and Company Users.
