Customizing appearance to fit your brand

While Carbon+Alt+Delete is a recognized platform among sustainability consultancies across the world, we understand the importance of branding. That is why we offer customization options of both the app appearance and the reports you generate from it.

App Appearance

In Consultancy Settings, under the tab "Appearance", you will find styling options for both the app itself and the reports you generate (like the GHGP report or ISO 14064-1 report). Let's start with looking at app appearance.

In the screenshot above, you can see the Carbon+Alt+Delete app as it appears by default, before any modifications have been made. In "App Appearance", the options you have available are:

• Consultancy name: this will change the name in the top-left of the sidebar (and will also change the consultancy name in generated reports)
• Logo Upoload: we recommend to upload a png in a smaller form factor (logo will appear in top-left of sidebar and in generated reports)
• Show only logo: this will remove the consultancy name from the sidebar
• Primary Colour: this changes the colour of the sidebar and many other elements across the app
• Text Colour: changes the colour of the text in the sidebar

Let's take a look at how the app can look after some changes have been made.

As you can see, the sidebar gets heavily affected by the colour styling options, but you can see similar changes take effect in other parts of the platform, like the Inventory as seen in the image below.

Report Appearance

Report Appearance, as the name suggests, will affect how the reports you generate will look. The options available in this section are:

• Include Front Cover: toggle the front page of the report on or off
• Include Back Cover: toggle the back page of the report on or off
• Accent Colour: affects headers and organizational units in reports
• Front Page Image: add a JPG or PNG image that will be stretched over the front cover of the report ( any non-covered space will be filled by accent colour)
• Report Title: give your report a custom title (will replace default title from report type)
• About Consultancy: add description about your consultancy (will appear on second-to-last page of report
• Consultancy Contact Info: will appear in "Contact Information" section together with company account contact info

There are a few other changes you can make in-app that will also affect the contents of your reports:

• In Company Settings, you can modify contact information and details about the company
• Under Reports and the tab "Disclosure", you can modify some of the texts that are auto-generated in your reports
