Companies that receive target approval are required to publicly disclose their target, including all its components, on the SBTi website within a 6-month period from the date of approval. If the target is not disclosed within this timeframe, it will need to be re-approved unless a distinct publication schedule has been previously agreed upon in writing with the SBTi.

The SBTi maintains the authority to delist a company from its roster of organizations with approved targets, and also from associated partner sites. This removal can be due to various reasons such as non-adherence to SBTi guidelines, concerns regarding the company's reputation, or a failure to inform the SBTi about significant corporate transitions like mergers or dissolutions.
