If you have previously calculated your emissions and already have CO2e data for a reporting period that you would like to add into Carbon+Alt+Delete, this is easily done using our template for calculated emissions data.
First, you need to download the template which can be found .
Please also keep the following in mind when filling out the template:
Do not edit the grey columns. These are pre-set and need to remain as they are for the import to function properly.
Unlike most of our templates, the calculated emissions template comes with all possible activity rows for the data that you can upload.
Please note that there is no row for energy supply. This is due to energy supply being automatically calculated based on your scope 1 and scope 2 input data.
Make sure all columns are mapped to the appropriate fields and then click next. The following fields need to be mapped manually:
"EF value" to "Emission Factor"
"Volume" to "Volume"
You can now review and modify the entries one final time before approving the import by clicking "Import".
Congratulations! Your calculated emissions data has now been imported and will show up in your inventory, dashboards, and reports.
Once the template is filled out, navigate to the view and choose factor mapping "Create New Factors". When using our template the sheet and range will auto-populate with the correct data. Click next.
If you don't have a certain set up in your boundary, it will show up as "not matched". You can ignore this but if there is data that you need to import for an activity that you have not set up, you can do so in your boundary settings. Once values are matched, click next.
