Greenhouse Gas Protocol

Companies can report on emissions for direct GHG emissions from biologically sequestered carbon (e.g., CO2 emissions from burning biomass/biofuels), reported separately from the scopes.

Implementation by Carbon+Alt+Delete

Carbon+Alt+Delete has implemented an automated calculation of biogenic emissions (if the required emission factors are available in the selected set of emission factors) and reports these emissions as “out-of-scope” emissions. Those emissions can currently not be manually changed or manipulated independently of their “parent emissions”.
