We are happy to inform you about new updates in Carbon+Alt+Delete:
Status Overview
IPCC emission factor dataset
Custom Field imports
Minor updates
We introduce the "Status Overview" page which gives you an overview of the progress and completeness of your carbon footprinting project at a glance. The "Status Overview" page, found at the top of the sidebar, is divided into sections for each reporting period and one general section for the whole company account. For each reporting period, you can see the following:
The number of Emissions Inventory entries which require attention. These are either those that do not have volume data provided or do not have the correct information for an emission factor to be assigned.
The number of Requests that are not yet processed. They are split up according to the status (e.g. Draft, Pending, Awaiting Import)
In the general section we prompt you to set up your SBTi targets and simulation if you have not done so yet. By clicking the arrow to the right of each warning you can navigate to the page where you can review the entries and remedy the issue.
The emission factor dataset from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is now available in Carbon+Alt+Delete. This dataset applies the latest global warming potential (GWP) values for fugitive emissions. It is available to be set as a preferred dataset for Process and Fugitive Emissions (navigate to Boundaries > Emission Factors) and can also be used directly from the Factor Library.
You can now include Custom fields in your import. You will find your custom fields (as defined in the Company Account settings) available when mapping columns for import. They are found in a section called Custom in the dropdown menu.
As with the standard fields, you will need to match any unknown values to expected options for that field.
Session timeout improvement – We’ve increased the time limit before users are logged out and fixed intermittent random log outs.
Waste default factors – The default dataset for waste emissions has been changed from ADEME to UK Gov. This is only applicable to new company accounts, if can be changed manually on existing accounts if desired.
Additional table filters – You can now filter rows according to whether a field is empty or not empty
