Relative metric dashboards, enhanced Simulation timelines, and an improved Import flow!

We have some exciting updates to share! Dashboards can now be viewed relative to the company’s business metrics. Simulations can now accommodate more complicated action timelines. And there have been several speed and flexibility improvements to the import functionality.
You can now view your dashboards while normalizing for various business metrics. For example, compare the emissions from the company’s offices in the context of a yearly increase in number of employees.
Add business data to the Inventory in much the same way as you manage emissions data.
You can define your preferred business metrics directly from the inventory – we’ve also pre-populated a few typical ones to get you started.
From the Dashboard you can then select the business metric you wish to use. You’ll find the controls in the See All button next to the filters that you’re familiar with. On the Compare tab you can set a relative metric ratio for each graphs separately; the controls are located in the three-dot near the filter controls.
Simulation manipulations can now be defined with their own start and end dates, separate from the rest of the simulation.
You can now also update existing manipulations and add notes and attachments if needed.
If the columns headers in the upload match our expected fields, they will be mapped automatically.
Values will also be matched automatically if (and only if) you have matched the value in previous imports.
Emission factors are only calculated in Step 4 to prevent unnecessary recalculation.
Incomplete emissions entries can now be imported and then updated once in the inventory.
You can now choose to import only a specific sheet and range from the import file.
Period dates can be provided as “DD/MM/YYYY” or “DD/MM/YYYY-DD/MM/YYYY”
When importing data from a request, the standard import flow will be followed. This gives you more control over how data is mapped and imported.
You can now download a spreadsheet of your inventory data. Select entries from the Inventory and select the Download option at the bottom of the table or navigate to Report and select the new xlsx option, “Carbon Footprint Data”.
Company users can now see the name of the company
Company access is automatically assigned to the creator of a new company
Property selections on tables now persist within a session
Tooltips are now included on units (to show the full text in the case of truncation)
Increased transparency and control over which emission factor sources are used.
Aligning activity categories more closely with the GHGP Act
